Joan Benedict Steiger will star in "Collected Stories," a play about literary appropriation. Thesp had planned to produce the play with her late husband, Oscar-winning actor Rod Steiger. The show will be dedicated to his memory.

Production opens Oct. 2 and runs through Nov. 7 at the Malibu Stage Company in Malibu.
